You have to walk through the casino and stand on line with all the shleps from the tables and machines. They've since moved the room and there is no cage. They had a cashiers cage right in the room and the line was fast enough. Pre pandemic they had THE best poker room on the east coast and had daily tournaments that were cheap and drew huge crowds. The pandemic crushed what was left of the good Foxwoods. Over the years things at Foxwoods that once seemed special were not so anymore.
Then wife and kids would go to arcade while I played craps then relieved the wife so she could go play slots. When my daughters were younger the wife and I would frequently take them there for the Friday night buffet which included crab legs which we all loved. Now, there are 2 casinos in MA as well as a bunch of them in NY and PA. The restaurants were 1st class as well as the service and the comps were very generous. They had it all including captive audiences from New England, New York and probably Pennsylvania. When this place 1st opened in the 90's it was quite a spectacle.
